Gong Xi! Gong Xi!I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my friends "Happy Chinese New Year". May this year will be a bullish year for all. Its time for us to moo-ve ahead and forget all those unhappy moments. However, there is still a lot more to be done especially in our current political and economy situation. An assemblymen from BN has defected to Pakatan Rakyat, and thus handing over a big Ang Pau to BN this year. There is more to come, according to PAS. BN leadership, as usual, gives assurance that it won't happen, as all the MP and assemblymen have pledged their loyalty to BN. So, lets us wait & see the great movie ahead, with director from both BN and Pakatan Rakyat and actors comprising of MP and assemblymen. Hope that the storyline will be as interesting as well.
MCA will have to work extra hard like a "bull"to win over the confidence of Chinese voters. MCA can't forever hide behind those glorious golden old days, where majority of the Chinese voters give their solid votes to MCA candidates. We must take into account that young voters play a major part in determining the victory of the candidates. All the young generation hopes to see a fair and justice system to be practised in our country. Not being a counterpart that is being controlled and being punched at the face by a dominant party all the time.
People said that a history is being created on 308 (March 2008) where the whole political landscape change. BN for the first time suffers a major loss. But lets us all worked together from now on to create another history in politic, that is to swept out Pakatan Rakyat from their seats in the five states which they controlled now. Although it seems like a daunting task for us, but believe me, it can be done if we apply the right strategies and mentality.
Chinese community is now waiting for MCA to give them reasons to celebrate this Chinese New Year even further; and if MCA can succeed in its reformation, I am sure the Chinese community will gives back a big Ang Pau (votes) to MCA in the coming election.
All comrades. Lets us now work hand in hand and reach out for the Chinese community in helping them in whatever way we can. They will eventually feel our sincerity sooner or later.
